The California Carvers Guild (CCG) is a statewide organization of woodcarvers. It has 31 active Chapters, organized into Northern and Southern Districts. To find a Chapter in your area, browse through our Chapter List.

The CCG Community:
Being a California Carvers Guild member gives you fellowship with other woodcarvers, training possibilities, and the opportunity to participate in the many carving shows.
You can belong to the CCG as a Member at Large. You’ll miss out on the benefits of belonging to a specific chapter, but you’ll still receive The Log and be able to participate in shows and competitions.

Our Legacy Website
Long before modern platforms, our guild’s online presence was handcrafted in HTML. We owe a debt of gratitude to Durwood Thrasher, who served as our webmaster for decades and maintained our digital space with the same care found in a carving studio. Browse our legacy website; it also contains older issues of The Log.
