Founded in 1973, the California Carvers Guild is dedicated to advancing the art and craft of quality wood carving through education, mentorship and the sharing of skills among carvers of all experience levels. The Guild fosters an inclusive and diverse community where creativity, craftsmanship and fellowship thrive, welcoming individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and carving interests. In addition to supporting the growth of wood carving throughout California, the Guild provides insurance coverage for its member clubs and individual carvers, helping ensure that carving activities, demonstrations, and events can be conducted with confidence and peace of mind.
