Sonoma County Woodcarvers was established as a club in 19 … We honestly don’t know! Our best guess is sometime in the late 1960’s, but how many of us remember what we did in the ’60s? What we can tell you is that our first teacher was Ellie Nevin, who began her woodcarving journey whittling her own dolls with her Pa back in Arkansas. Today’s group is pretty diverse, and always looking to learn something new.
We meet every Wednesday from 10:00 am till 2:00 pm at Art & Soul art supply, 755 Petaluma Ave, Sebastopol CA.
